Local Legends is a free summer celebration where the creative heart of our mountains comes alive. Wander through a showcase of local authors, artists, illustrators, and creatives, all right here in your own backyard. Discover a book you never knew you needed. Find a piece of art that was made for your wall. Meet the people behind the stories and the brushstrokes.

Bring the whole family. Bring your curiosity. And bring a school supply or two. Local Legends will also serve as a community Back to School Supply Drive, with all donations going directly to Macon County Schools. Because the best stories begin with a child who has the tools to write their own.
